This site is my exploration of a mine or quarry I had explored quite a while ago, and finally got around to checking it out again.  It's a granite quarry near Odessa MN.  It seems some metal sided building burned down say 40 years ago, and most of the equipment is still around.  Kind of a puzzle about how the equipment was used.  The above photos show two sides of a "Sullivan", a steam driven motor, I'm guessing.  It's still on it's concrete pedestaI. I don't see how the power was used.  I think the large vertical pipe feed steam to power it, as the other end goes to a large pressure resistant tank.  The boiler seems to be missing from this site though.
