list of large silver nuggets

In school I studied Geology.  I've worked for engineering and oil companies, and have quite a few years of working for myself, prospecting and mining minerals, mostly in Colorado.

Lately, I've been doing research into gold and silver, the stuff big enough to see.  The stuff big enough to find with a metal detector.  I'm going to figure out how to get some of this information onto this site. The rest of this information will be for sale.  I hope you find this information useful, and will want to buy the rest of it.

I've researched twelve of the western US states, from AZ to UT.  I never ran across much information about AK, however.

I think you will find the file on large gold and silver nuggets stunning.  I was kind of stunned.

I put some information on my Wordpress blog.  Search for coarse gold and silver, there.

A word about me.  I took my research, and picked about a dozen mine dumps, that I felt I should explore in the summer of 2016.  I went to the library, and at mytopo.com, printed off some topo maps.  I metal detected on those dumps in  NM, AZ, and NV, for about two weeks.  I never spent more than a few hours, on each dump, unless I got gold.  I found gold on three of those dumps, and found one mine dump, that I feel would be worth shoveling through.   I just about broke even, after selling the gold.  No photos, I learned that it's just wrong and I don't do anything for publicity .  I'm just saying, don't expect anything on this web site to be a "gold mine".  Just information and entertainment.
